Seek Thermal Camera---- Powerful and portable, this Seek Compact thermal camera is a state-of-the art thermal camera that connects directly to our smartphone (iOS or Android). This is not an app, it’s an actual camera you connect to your phone. We have thermal evidence from this device on our YouTube page.
Infrared flood light---- with these lights we can flood an area with infrared light so our DVR cameras can record the area in total darkness.
Night Vision Monocular---- Military style night vision device. We are able to record night vision video with this device. We mainly use this for our ‘Bigfoot’ hunts. It’s not only an evidence getter but also a safety device for us out in the woods.
Infrared DVR camera---- We also use these day or night. These cameras are connected to a DVR system to help record hours of video during the investigation.
Compact Infrared Light---- We us these lights as mobile infrared lights for areas we do not have another infrared light source available.
REM Pod----The REM pod uses a mini telescopic antenna to radiate its own independent magnetic field around the instrument. This EM field can be easily influenced by materials and objects that conduct electricity. Based on source proximity, strength and EM field distortion the 4 LED lights can be activated in any order or combination.
This unit also has the ATDD (Ambient Temperature Deviation Detection) feature. This feature helps detect and alert us to any ambient temperature changes with an audible tone. If the temperature drops, a lower tone is heard and if the temperature raises the tone is heard with a higher pitch alert. There is also an LED light that indicates changes with visible color changes. Blue indicates a temp drop while red indicates a rise in temp.
Flir Thermal Camera---- Thermal imaging, also called thermography, is the production of non-contact infrared pictures from which temperature measurements can be made. By detecting anomalies often invisible to the naked eye, thermography allows us to see the unseen. Portable infrared cameras scan the area, then instantly convert the thermal images to pictures for monitoring. Thermal imaging has evolved into one of the most valuable paranormal tools used today.
Hand-held infrared camcorders with portable infrared light---- These are portable camcorders with record in daylight or night time with infrared lighting illuminating the areas. Just another device to help us capture video and audio in total darkness. These differ from the POV cameras because these will not record in Full Spectrum.
Mel-Meter---- This device simultaneously measures EMF (Electro-magnetic Field) and Temperature. It has a red illuminated display to help with viewing at night, as well as a red LED flashlight built in. We now have 3 devices in one to use out in the field.
Ultraviolet Flashlight---- This is a great mobile light for our full spectrum POV’s. Since the POV’s record in the full spectrum of light we can illuminate an area with these flashlights if need be.
Laser grid pen with tripod---- This is a high powered laser that emits a grid of green dots useful for detecting shadows or general visual disturbances during the investigation.
BooBuddy---- We use this device as a trigger item. BooBuddy asks EVP questions in order to trigger a response. If anything changes (EMF, motion, temperature) BooBuddy will respond appropriately, letting us know that we may not be alone. BooBuddy has built-in LED’s that will illuminate when there is an EMF change. We can set a camera on this item and monitor any changes. We call him our little B3PO.
This is some of the equipment we use in the field to help us get answers for our clients.
Audio recorders---- these are used to record our EVP sessions, in the hopes we get audible replies to our questions.
K2 Meter---- This K2 meter is a popular, easy-to-use tool to detect spikes in electromagnetic energy. These spikes indicated by the multi-colors lights at the top of the meter may signify activity or communication from spirits from the other side. This device is not as sensitive as a Mel-meter but its better than nothing.
Full Spectrum POV camera---- This full spectrum high definition video camera will capture images, in 1080p HD, within both ends of the light spectrum- where theories suggest that spirits reside. We can use it as a night vision camera or go full spectrum with any lighting we choose.
Parabolic Microphone---- Parabolic microphones have great sensitivity to sounds in one direction. We use this mainly for ‘Bigfoot’ hunts so we can detect far off sounds.
DVR---- We connect our DVR cameras to this device in order to record day and night video. We have the capability of recoding not only video but also audio with the cameras. This way if we don’t have investigators in the area we will still be able to catch any paranormal audio in that area.
Trailcams---- We use these devices day or night. They have the capability of taking video or photos. The device uses the built-in infrared lights, to help illuminate the darkness, in order to capture anything that might pass in front of the camera.
Dowsing rods---- Many dowsers today use a pair of simple L-shaped metal rods. One rod is held in each hand, with the short arm of the L held upright, and the long arm pointing forward. When something is found, the rods cross over one another making an X over the found object. We have used these in Q&A sessions with some amazing results.
